Warranty and Coverage

  • Every hearing aid has a warranty and coverage for 3 years on all technology.
  • The coverage includes office visits, batteries, supplies for hearing aids, repairs and loss and damage.
  • The warranty and coverage is always discussed with every patient .
  • Extended warranties are available after the original warranty expires.  Please discuss this with the Audiologist.

Hearing Aid Evaluation

  • The process of determining which hearing aid is most appropriate for your communication needs

  • Hearing aids can range in size from the smallest devices name completely-in-the-canal (CIC) to a slightly larger device that may fit behind-the-ear (BTE)

  • You and your Audiologist will discuss various types of circuitry technology to provide you with an optimum fitting; as well as the size and style of the device

  • What is circuitry technology? This is the sound quality, ability to perform in background noise, etc.

  • After the hearing aid selection is complete we may need to send out an ear impression based on the style of hearing aid chosen and the degree of hearing loss to ensure the hearing aid fits appropriately. This can take up to 2-3 weeks.
